Broken comments NOT fixed

Posted by daveb on December 19th, 2007

Follow the daring adventures of daveb & Squiffy as we circumnavigate the globe and broaden our minds to what the world has to offer.

You can get free updates delivered directly to you by subscribing to our full RSS feed or, if you prefer, simply register for e-mail updates.

We do hope that you find something of value here: You can use the cloud to the right to read our country-related posts or the search box if you need something more specific. We value your comments -- thanks for visiting!

In direct contrast to my recent entry, the comments facility on this blog is still not working properly. You may have tried to leave a comment recently: Whilst the comment that you enter is recorded ok, the ‘loading page’ image in your browser never stops ’spinning’.

Two of the, erm, greatest IT minds are working on the fault — albeit it’s somewhat difficult to troubleshoot without a web connection, so please bear with us!

Clearly testing, again. Has this got any better? (I think it’s the php code, incidentally)

Let’s try another - the comment is posted, but the page redirect doesn’t happen. Try clicking on the home page after a second or two from posting, and you’ll see the comment has posted just fine. Weird.
